Graphic Designer, Full-Time PT Mirai Group Japan, Jakarta (On-site) Salary: IDR 5,500,000 to IDR 8,000,000 per month (based on demonstrated skill level)

Who We Are

PT Mirai Group Japan is the Indonesian arm of a Tokyo-based premium beauty and skincare company. We operate across Japan, Indonesia, the UAE, Vietnam, and India. Our brands are positioned in the premium segment and appear in luxury retail stores, international beauty exhibitions, e-commerce platforms, and digital campaigns.

We are a small team. That means your work will be visible everywhere and will matter. It also means there is no one to cover for you if your output is weak.

What This Role Actually Is

You will be the person responsible for how our brands look. Not just on social media. Everywhere.

That includes social media posts, Instagram stories, campaign banners, paid advertising creatives, product packaging, labels, hang tags, printed banners, exhibition materials, product catalogs, business proposals, and presentation decks.

You will also be working with AI image generation tools regularly. Writing prompts, refining outputs, and combining them with Photoshop to produce finished assets. This is not optional. It is part of the daily workflow.

What You Must Be Able to Do

Branding and visual consistency You understand that a brand is a system, not a collection of nice-looking posts. You can look at an existing brand and immediately understand its rules: color palette, typography, tone, spacing, and visual hierarchy. You apply those rules consistently without being reminded every time.

Design fundamentals that are non-negotiable Text must be readable. Hierarchy must be clear. Spacing must be intentional. Colors must work together for a reason, not just because they look vibrant. If you cannot explain why you made a design decision, that is a problem. We need someone with real design judgment, not just software skill.

Social media and digital advertising You can design content that performs, not just looks good. You understand aspect ratios, safe zones, how images get cropped on different platforms, and what makes someone stop scrolling.

Print and packaging You know the difference between RGB and CMYK. You know what bleed and trim lines are. You have set up files for print before and they came out correct.

AI image generation You have used Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Leonardo, or similar tools. You know how to write a prompt that produces a specific result, not a random output. You know how to take an AI-generated image and clean it up or composite it into a final design in Photoshop.

Software Adobe Photoshop is required at an advanced level. Illustrator is strongly preferred. Canva is acceptable for quick turnaround work but cannot be your main tool.

What Will Disqualify You Immediately

• If your portfolio has inconsistent fonts across the same project, you are not ready for this role.
• If your portfolio is mostly Canva templates with the colors changed, you are not ready for this role.
• If you have never designed packaging or a print-ready file, you need to be honest about that in your application.
• If you need a full brief and multiple revisions to produce a single Instagram post, the pace of this role will not work for you.

Day-to-Day Reality

This is not a slow-paced role. You will receive direction on brand requirements and campaign goals, and you are expected to produce high-quality output efficiently. There will be weeks with heavy workloads tied to product launches or events. You will sometimes be asked to design something outside your comfort zone. That is expected.

You will work closely with the marketing and business development team. You will also interact directly with management on brand-level decisions.
